Located at a 13-acre site between Kakoge and Nakasongola, approximately 2 hours north of Kampala, the Uroda Farm serves as a community hub, offering education and training to local farmers. Currently dedicated to ginger production, our aim is to educate farmers in effective ginger production in order for them to achieve a better yield.
Most Ugandan farmers follow traditional farming methods and rarely get a fair price for their crops. We welcome farmers from across Uganda to visit to our farm to find out how we can help them farm more effectively.
Profits from the Uroda Farm are invested into community initiatives such as clean water facilities, payment of school fees for impoverished children, and the development of healthcare facilities. Find out more about these initiatives by clicking the button below.
